CREATIVITY BUZZ COACHING

CREATIVITY BUZZ COACHING

One of things I ask my clients to do is pay attention to what works–what habits, rituals, tips, tools and techniques support them in their work. As I’ve immersed myself in my own painting and writing, as well as in my work as a creativity coach, I’ve discovered deliciously exciting tools. I’ve been led to authors and practitioners, websites and blogs. And I’d like to pass along what I’ve learned to help you live with full creative expression.

I am indebted to the work of two creativity pioneers – Eric Maisel and Jill Badonsky.  Maisel is a cognitive therapist; Badonsky created Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching ®, a marriage of her invention of the 9 Modern Day Muses and psychologist Robert Maurer’s interpretation of  Kaizen, a Japanese word meaning “continuous improvement with small steps.”

What I love best about  Kaizen-Muse creativity coaching is its respect for the individual, someone wanting to pursue a specific creative dream in the arts or the person seeking to live with more creative joy and spark.  KMCC is a compassionate, playful and very powerful model of coaching that honors both a client’s strengths and successes, as well as the non-linear nature of the creative process. It offers tested and proven tools that clients can practice to move past the creative blocks of procrastination, resistance, overwhelm, self sabotage and fear. Knowing that forming creative new habits, thinking patterns, emotions and actions is a gradual process, Kaizen Muse creativity coaches encourage clients to explore what already works for them, to build upon this success and make changes one small step at a time.

Two other stars shine brightly in my constellation Teachers: Rick Wilkes and Cathy Vartuli at www.thrivingnow.com. Using EFT to clear blocks to emotional freedom, which to me is the foundation to an abundantly rich and passionate creative life, they demonstrate how energy tapping is an elegant, easy way to raise one’s vibration and open energetic doorways to a thriving, abundant life. I have become an affiliate of Thriving Now.com because I love Cathy and Rick’s energy and because I continue to experience life-enhancing changes every time I participate in a TN group coaching call.

Join me at Creativity Buzz as I share my discoveries about works for me and my clients.
