December’s First Friday Art Stroll in Oxford, PA

A young artist, who stopped by the Oxford Arts Alliance Gallery during December’s First Friday art stroll, hangs her Artist Trading Card (ATC) on the Christmas tree. Many local artists have already contributed their miniature works of art, and the tree can hold many more.  All creative spirits are invited to stop in and create an ATC or bring one to adorn the tree. After Christmas we’ll swap cards at a trading party. Date and details to be announced. (Become a member of the Oxford Arts Alliance and/or sign up for their eblasts.)

Friday was the opening of an exhibit by the Brandywine Valley Traveling Art Stroll. (Last month we displayed in Media, PA, at the Jigsaw Rug Shop.)  This month the Oxford Arts Alliance welcomed our group of artists to the Gallery and treated us to lots of wall space.  I so enjoyed talking to viewers about my 8 new works, including several watercolor weavings. 300 plus people visited the Gallery Friday evening between 5 and 8 p.m.
